Received LEED Gold certification

Skyline was commissioned by leading energy consulting, testing and certification firm Kema to build out their corporate offices in downtown Oakland. The space features bamboo flooring and LEED compliant carpet, with dramatic views of Lake Merritt and the Cathedral of Christ the Light.

Project LEED Facts:
Showers and bike racks were installed for 5% of KEMA's employees
46% reduction in water use
Daylight-responsive controls were installed at all perimeter windows to conserve energy
Installed sub-metering equipment to measure and record KEMA's energy uses
88% of demolition & construction waste was recycled
50% of wood-based materials were FSC certified
90% of occupants can control individual lighting needs
21% of construction materials were of recycled content
